Summer 2025 Housing

Summer housing can be reserved through the . The Residence Complex (RC) is a smoke-free and drug-free facility located at 3241 S. Indiana Ave. Chicago, IL 60616. It is a safe and secure complex with 24/7 security. 

پDzԲ:Payment for your stay is payable directly to the Illinois College of Optometry. Payment and signed housing contracts are due five (5) days prior to your stay. The fee is non-refundable. Payment can be made by check, direct deposit or, credit card. Should there be any damages to the room, an additional charge appropriate to the damage will be applied to your account.  Please fill out the form so we can process your request.

Room Options: All room types are dependent upon availability.

  • Option 1 – Single room in a 2-room suite.
  • Option 2 – Large Single room in a 2-room suite. There is one bathroom per suite that would be shared by two people. 
  • Option 3 – Entire Suite, both the large and single rooms and private bathroom.

Check-in – Noon to 5:00 pm.

Check-out – Noon to 5:00 pm (other arrangements can be made if need be) 

Suite Description: A suite includes two single rooms and one bathroom. One person occupies each room. Two people share the bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with an extra-long twin bed that includes under-bed storage, a study desk with built-in lighting and a corkboard, a dresser, a closet, and a bedside lamp. Residents must supply all linens (including pillow), food, etc. The shared bathroom for each suite includes a shower, toilet, and sink. Residents are responsible for other appliances (hair-dyers, etc.). 

Parking: Parking in ICO’s Parking Garage. Parking for VanderCook students staying at the RC is available at no cost.
